The fireplace mantel pictured above is our English Tudor Cast Stone Surround. It can be carved from travertine, limestone or marble. Precast and cast stone are similar. Our cast stone is made from limestone making it more real to the touch and sight. They are both man made stones. Consider ordering this fireplace mantel made from travertine. This will give it that old world look and feel. These Tudor mantels are historic replicas. We offer serval variations with different inlays and designs. Some traditional English inlays in the mantel shelf include leaves, vines, and shields.
